HERMES is BACK and HE BROUGHT HIS EGO!

NASA faces a crash landing! BO is destroying NASA (see posts below on
why NASA needs to continue to be the number one scientific institution and
the number one technological engine of our economy and enhanced to
the level that it enjoyed from the late '50s to the early '70s). If BO is
reelected expect crash soon; if Romney is elected expect crash later. As you
know, we oppose all manner of subsidies except to universities for basic
research (pure science) in astronomy, physics, biology, chemistry,
biochemistry and biophysics. Not a penny for private sector activities; it
isn't capitalistic, justifiable and we just plain can't afford it. NASA isn't
subsidized but funded like other components of fed gov and must continue
to be funded. In light of national debt, it is the only entity in fed gov that
should receive a spending increase! (See Below). We should return to the
moon with Orion paving the way for cost-effective moon mining (see below).
NASA should develop nuclear thermal propulsion and further develop
nuclear power generators (see below; ladies, we meant below this article).

As we previously proposed, future declassified version of X-37b and manned
version should be given to NASA for missions to space station (our
involvement in station should end in 2015 instead of 2020; see below). We should
use unmanned version in our GPS (our original proposal; guess where you'll
find it).

Lynx is our favorite non-NASA space program (find out why...no; you think that
we are going to say: see below...discover reason one floor down).

Only USA could have pulled off Curiosity landing: UNBELIEVABLE!!!

"Hermes here! I wish to start off by saying that I am enjoying my new association
with CJCS Comsats, Being a staff member has a major fringe benefit: the girls
love it! (Yes, we are all heterosexual around here; no bad mutations).
Tooting my own horn: An asteroid is named after me. 'Big deal', you say. True:
Not a galaxy or a star or a constellation or a planet or a dwarf planet or a moon.
My namesake is special though. It's a binary asteroid (two asteroids orbiting their
common center of mass). You say: 'Big deal. There are other binary asteroids'.
My asteroid is a double asteroid (both components are nearly the same size;
doubles are rarer than binaries). You say: 'Nonetheless, there are others.'
They're confined to the Asteroid Belt. My orbit takes my eccentric orbit takes
me into the inner solar system - crossing earth's orbit; a near-earth asteroid.
Usually, earth is far away (in another part of its orbit) when I cross. However,
sometimes, I come close. I'm been known to come as close as the moon. There
were close encounters in 1937, '42, '54, '74, '86 and 3012. Ladies, my
dimensions: the two of me are about 2,000 feet across (and take 14 hours to
orbit their common center of mass). I hear you: 'There are other double asteroids.
mine is the only near-earth double asteroid. No one is like Hermes! Sadly,
some day another might be found and I will know how my friends Pluto,
Centaurus and Sagittarious feel (see "Urania" at www.comsat-ak.blogspot.com -
