Subject: Fwd: Prescient Citizen Journalist...
Update: We have been opposed the virtually all subsidies for years, including, those
for oil, natural gas, solar, wind, SpaceX. Though, LightSquared didn't get the subsidy,
we can't  understand why Solyndra is getting more media coverage (though not an
adequate amount) than LightSquared which involved national security!

                           The PRESCIENT CITIZEN JOURNALIST
                              (with all appropriate Modesty Aside)
by Citizen Journalist, Richatd DePersio and Dr. Walter Koskiusko Waldowski*
Richard D: "CJ, What do you know about baseball?" Citizen Journalist: "I know that
originally the term 'Yankee' was something like 'John Cheese' and was a put-down
of Dutch by British (Dutch were known to be partial toward cheese). I'm attempting to
pronounce the way that the British sarcastically pronounced it. Our audience at this
web site realizes that I'm not doing a good job of it. It later
became a put-down of the British by the Dutch after New Netherlands became
New York. During the Civil War it became 'Yankee' as a put-down of northern
soldiers by southern ones: some took offense; some didn't. After the war: it was
what Americans were called when they visited a foreign country; it became the name
of a New York ball club; a term for people who lived in the New England States.
Whilst today, it's the name of a team and a foreigner term." Richard D.: Your doing the
branch of anthropology known as linguistics. Talk some real baseball, little cripple
(correction: in so much as your 6' - big cripple." CJ: "Don Drysdal was one of the best
pitchers in history - he pitched for the Dodgers after they moved from Brooklyn (N.Y.) to
Los Angeles. He appeared on Grouch Marx's strange game show 'You Bet Your
Life' in 1960 along with his wife as contestants. They won $1000 and held pat,
choosing not to gamble any further with the bonus match. They could have wound
up with 10,000 or 5,000, or 500 dollars. Boy! Have times changed! It goes to show
that ball players weren't paid much in those days. No; they weren't playing for
charity but for themselves - newlyweds." Richard D.: "You can't even walk and your
still not technically talking baseball." CJ: "We appreciate 'Invites to Events' at Facebook
but Richard D. is anti-social, as you all too well know, and I'm homebound. Here's
something that many baseball fans don't know: prior to around 1950 (I can't remember
the exact year) if hit ball pounced into outfield seats in fair territory, it was a home run
not a double. Richard D.: "As Popeye would say, "'Blow me down'. Walk across the
run room and collect a $100 - ha, ha!

Citizen Journalist: "We did it again. We proved to have big crystal balls." Dr. W.:
"What are you talking about?" CJ: "It doesn't concern you. It concerns a two-part
article 'isn't he the guy Who Was in a buddhist temple, Who claimed that he didn't
know Why he Was there' by Richard D. and myself - part one, two weeks ago
and part two, last week." Richard D.: "I had forgotten. Where's Adderall. It was
about possibly treasonous acts committed by members of the Clinton Administration,
including, Clinton and Gore." Citizen J.: "History might be repeating itself with
Obama." Dr. W.: "Why is it that lib democrats are weak in national security and
why was Clinton perceived of as being a moderate?"** ( prescient Articles 2, 1 follow).
 (It's a painting of whom?***)
As is our wont, we start off with cosmos (meaning world), next  we deal with world
and Offending with Truth whenever possible.
Has the speed of earth's rotation changed? Yes, indeed. Its been slowing down:
days were shorter and there were more days in the year. About 350 million years
ago, the year had 410 days; 280 million years ago, a year was 390 days long.
(T) It would appear that the White House pressured General Sheldon of "Air Force
Space Command to LIE!
(R) He testified before House Arms Services Committee and stated that the cell
phone system, including, transmitters being developed by "LightSquared" was a
problem that could be easily rectified and would not jeopardize military GPS (the
military uses the same GPS system as you do but their data is much more precise
and used to guide missiles, track bombs, locate troops, amongst others things).
He later revealed that he had been pressured to testify that way and, if truth be told,
it would be very difficult and expensive to rectify and that during the process of
attempting to do so, national security would be compromised. We haven't read or
heard this anywhere: it constitutes a repeat of 1996 when Department of Defense
told Clinton that a private company shouldn't be allowed to sell certain technology
to China; Clinton did something strange, he turned the
matter over to Commerce Department which approved; China's military now has
world's faster super-computer (See articles 2 and 1 which follow this article). Present:
DOD and White House knew cell system was bad but FCC approved. EXCLUSIVE:
We are the first to point out that history has repeated itself.
(E) Why would members of Obama White House (what did Obama know and when
did he know it) pressure a general to lie? Could it be because one of the principal
stockholders of "LightSquared" is a major contributor to the Democratic Party and
to Democratic candidates?!?
(A) This comes on the heels of allegations regarding Obama team, "Solyndra," and
crony capitalism. We are apposed to virtually all forms of subsidies for virtually all
orgs (private companies, educational institutions, etc, with few exceptions). Solar
and wind companies are heavily subsidized and still companies that make solar
panels can't compete due to lower-priced panels sold here by China. We have
written about the value of and the relatively low cost of placing panels not on earth
as part of a system but in earth orbit as part of a system there.
(S) We are opposed to subsidies, including, subsidies to companies like SpaceX
because we don't think that taxpayer $$$s should go to private companies be it in
the form of a hand-out (corporate welfare) or gov loan or a loan co-signed by gov.
Investment shouldn't come from taxpayers but from those investors who specialize
in big risk for possible big return.
(O) Obama partially nationalized (socialized) the banking and auto industries. What
disturbs us most is the issue being discussed least: A senior member of the
Energy Department was a member of the Board of Directors of "Solydra" because of
gov-backed loan. Capitalist Principle: Separation of Company and State is real.
(While Separation of Church and State is false). White House apparently approved
of gov-backing in spite of precarious state of company and wanted it sped up for
a Biden photo-up (Gore in Buddhist Temple). (See "A Bad Case of Treason" at
Citizenj - connect via Home Page to be connected with the latest).
N: National Security Type; Anti-Good Capitalism Type.
Its time for an A.D.D. break sponsored by Adderall and Kentucky Bourbon (they
socialize well together): We have a rocket!!! NASA's proposed new rocket will build
upon Saturn 5, Shuttle and Constellation technologies (precisely what we wanted;
initially, it will employ solid booster rockets but, eventually, safer liquid-fueled) at
a projected cost (on average) of $3.5 billion (out of a budget of $17 billion which is
expected to be reduced to $15 billion) per year which includes the cost of the Orion
Multi-Purpose Vehicle.
If approved by congress, NASA will be prepared to launch test flights beginning
in 2017 and a manned test flight in 2017. It will initially carry cargo weighing 77 tons,
and, eventually, 143 tons. By comparison, the Space Shuttle lifted 27 tons and the
Saturn 5: 132 - making the new rocket the most powerful rocket in history!
Called the "Space Launch System," we have one problem with it: it will go to
Mars and other destinations but not the moon; moon mining could play a major
role in satisfying the future energy needs of those on earth. (See "Action Chain Letter:
10" and "Mining the Moon: Crystalinks" at Citizenj).
"It is part of the conservative intuition that economic freedom is the most precious
temporal freedom, for the reason that it alone gives to each one of us, in our
comings and goings in a complex society, sovereignty---and over that part of our
existence in which by far the most choices have in fact to be made, and in which
it is possible to make choices, involving oneself, without damage to other people.
And for the further reason that without economic freedom, political and other
freedoms are likely to be taken away from us."
Was this statement made yesterday? Was it made in late 2008/early 2009 when
fed gov was giving money to and seizing partial control of banking and auto
industries via bailouts?
No; it was made in 1966 by Bill Buckley ("Quotations from Chairman Bill" compiled
by David Frank, Pocket Book, 1971).
*Painless Polish Poker and Dental Clinic
**During his first two years in office, he was responsible for the second largest tax
increase in our history and Hillary-Care was nearly approved (the precursor of
Obama-care(the precursor of socialized medicine - Canada, U.K., France and other
nations are moving away from it while we are moving toward this failed system).
After he lost control of congress, Republicans forced him (he kicked and screamed)
to replace welfare with workfare, sign "Marriage Protection Act," balance the budget,
moderately cut taxes - when these things worked, he later took the bows.
