       Civics is concerned with the rights and duties of citizens. Civics courses became popular in the late 1880's in public schools mainly for the benefit of immigrants and had a strong emphasis on teaching patriotism. The latter began to be reduced  big-time since the

1960's which is also when religion was removed from public schools. While over 80% of

Americans practiced their religion on a regular or semi-regular basis in the 1950's that figure is now down to 60% (It's worse in Western Europe - three examples: England, 50%; Germany, 45%; France, 40%. About 15 years ago, many countries in Western Europe instituted a Church tax ostensibly to help all churches, especially, the growing number of financially-strapped ones - it had the opposite effect: it caused many if not most people in their 20s and 30s to stop attending services rather then pay the tax; this reporter wonders if surreptitiously that was the real intent of an increasingly secular European governments. In Eastern Europe, after they were freed of communism, everyone was very religious. There were no longer a handful of state-run churches;

numerous churches were being constructed until a few years ago when most of the countries went secular and some like Holland obscene!).

       Divorce became more and more acceptable since the 1960's and homos came out of the closet beginning in the 1970's and legislative but primarily judicial decisions since the 1970's are destroying the sanctity of marriage. Single mothers have become admired in the liberal media. A single women is more  likely to give up her baby for adoption the more educated and/or financially well off she is. Studies have shown that children our best off and least likely to drop out of school and/or take up drugs and/or smoking and/or drinking and/or less likely to hold down a job and/or

end up min prison and more likely to attend college, be religious, be active in their community

and less likely to divorce if they were brought up in a mom/dad household functional and second

place may surprise some - but not the one who is presently typing - goes to mom/dad households dysfunctional and not single parent functional (third place; single parent dysfunctional

last).I concur with Ann Courtler and others that single mothers, especially, those on welfare

(we'll settle for the latter) shouldn't be allowed to keep their children - due it for the sake of

the child instead welfare mothers are rewarded with more social services for each additional

baby that they have! The are doomed to a life of misery!. Uphold and reserve the rights of marriage

- the fathers of the bitches and bastards shouldn't have visitation rights and shouldn't be

required to pay child support and the children shouldn't be permitted to lay partial claim to

their estates upon their death. Don't reward corruption! Give these children a chance: foster

and adoptive parents - moms and dads; single people shouldn't be allowed to adopt except

under the strictest of rules and definitely not homos predicated on studies largely suppressed

by the mainstream media. Some of you are saying: "There are too many children and a

shortage of heterosexual couples willing to adopt." My response built places like the

original Boys Town; Boy's Town is no longer using that model. Take minor children who

become pregnant away from their parents. Where are you going to get the funds to build

traditional and non-traditional orphanages? You'll no longer be rewarding welfare mothers

and encouraging immorality. Can you believe that there are those who favor visitations

rights for men whose former tramps have cleaned up their acts and are now married. Shrew

with the heads of kids! Sex-change operations, abortion (save the trees, kill the babies), trans-

sexualism,, embryonic stem cell research and will will be able to manipulate matter within ten years and create life within twenty-five. Don 't mess with Mother Nature!

        Redesign and reintroduce (in many cases) civic courses with a powerful patriotic and moral 

component. Augustus Caesar was the most successful Roman Emperor because he used

Roman history and Legends to reawaken old Roman virtues and instill patriotism and civic

duty to everyone including slaves. Occasionally, I watch the 700 Club (I'm not religious)

Pat Robinson was interviewing Dan Senor, economic advisor and Yoram Ettinger, author and they

explained that Israel is more then a country that it is a state of mind: survival, commitment,

business success - all of which are considered part of patriotism. Virtually all 18 to 21 year

olds are required to serve in the military and most of them follow the military with college

(they are older and more mature then American college students run by liberals where

everything is excepted and encouraged except patriotism and morality). Israel is a small

country but proportionately has more start-up companies. Per capita it has more people

employed in research and development while the U.S. is No. 2 and declining. When

American individuals, groups and companies have a new idea or an idea for an improvement

in an existing product, they develop it in countries like Israel, India and Brazil. Even cooperate

executives have lost a sense of patriotism. When an American returns from serving in

Iraq or Afghanistan and tells a potential employer that he worked on reconstruction or security or

tribal negotiations or whatever - he hears: "that's very interesting but have you ever had a

real job." The Israeli military creates innovative leaders who apply military technology when

they enter the private sector. Companies are especially interested in hiring former junior officers.

They consider veterans a highly valued resource. And, further, there is an anti-military sentiment on our colleges campuses.

NEXT: Obama is setting us up for a terrorist attack and I hope that he is tarred-and-feathered

when the tragedy occurs. Last week's gate-crashers at the White House State Dinner is

symbolic of our lack of security. Yet, many liberals are telling you that it wasn't serious and

comedians are joking about it. Obama has watered-down the Patriot Act, rendered the

CIA professionals in investigation and interrogation of terrorists and enemy combatants

marginalized, refuses to call it a war on terror, kisses Iran's ass, has recreated the thick

wall liberals constructed in the 1970's and 1990's between the FBI and CIA which in

large part caused 9/11 and giving Muslim scum an opportunity to recruit terrorists in an

American courtroom which may also cause secret information to be revealed in a manner (courtesy of Obama's Justice Department which wants to embarrass Bush in spite of the fact that a majority of American approved of his methods which kept us safe for eight years) at the expense of encouraging American hatred around the the world - they don't give a damn - - politics above national security. By the way, did you enjoy his bow to the Emperor of Japan - it will be hard to top the blow job that he gave the Saudi King!

       The EU's Court has ruled that crucifixes must be removed from public school classroom

in all member nations. The Vatican is upset and many Italians are furious. The Italian Government

is appealing the decision. We may be headed toward a World Government and don't be

surprised if the U.S. is only a minor player with a worthless dollar!!!
